Myra Theresa Nunez Leboeuf

Myra Puddin Nunez LeBoeuf, 76, of Lake Charles was called to be with our Lord at 2:08 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2013 in a Welsh, LA nursing facility.

Myra was born in Creole on May 6, 1937 and graduated from Creole High School. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Cameron. She lived in Cameron until after Hurricane Rita, after which she moved to Lake Charles.

Myra is survived by her husband, Robert Gerald LeBoeuf; two sons, Eric LeBoeuf and his wife Denise of Grand Lake and Jeffery LeBoeuf and his wife Carla of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Nicholas, Sammie, Mica, Kasey, Jami, and Sydney LeBoeuf; and great granddaughter, Bree Baby Girl LeBoeuf; two sisters, Frances Hebert and Phyllis Swire; and a sister-in-law, Mary Nunez.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Allie Nunez; her son, Robert Gerald LeBoeuf, Jr.; an infant daughter; her brothers, Macdonald Bozo Nunez and Wayne Nunez; and her sister, Janie Nunez.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole. The Rev. Tim Goodley will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Saturday from 8:00 AM until leaving to go to the church at 1:00 PM.
