Nancy Ann Bonvillain Farque

Nancy Ann Bonvillain Farque, 85, peacefully passed away on October 24, 2023, in a local care facility. She was born on January 10, 1938, in Lake Charles, LA, to Hubert and Bertha Broussard Odom.
She found joy in dancing to Country and French music, and for fourteen years, she called Tower Oaks her home. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of five years, Clement Farque, Jr. She is also remembered by her devoted daughters, Anna Gabbard (Rick), Jodi Campbell (Geoffrey), and Cecilia Bonvillain (Joe), along with her sons, Marty Bonvillain (Lisa) and Lee Bonvillain (Vilma). Her legacy continues through nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Amy Gabbard Brown, and her sister, Alice Taylor.
A Memorial Service to honor Nancy’s life will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, October 27, 2023, in the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Chapel, with Rev. John Paylor officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM and continue until the service commences at 5:00 PM. Cremation services have been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
