Nancy Elizabeth Weidner

April 15, 1951 — January 29, 2012

Nancy Elizabeth Weidner 60, of Sulphur passed away on January 29, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Aubrey Guilbeaux officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with a Scripture Reading at 6 p.m. Nancy was a longtime resident of Sulphur. After graduating from St. Charles Academy she attended McNeese State University, where she received her Bachelor degree and later her Masters in Nursing. She also was a licensed Massage Therapist. She worked for many years as a camp nurse at Louisiana Lions Camp for crippled children in Leesville. Nancy was a member of the Diamond Dancer Competition Team and a Mardi Gras Reveler. She was a very active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Nancy is survived by her husband, Paul Weidner of Sulphur; three daughters, Amy Weidner of Sulphur, Lisa Lovett and husband, Mike of Westlake and Jana Taylor and husband, Daniel of Sulphur; mother, Myrle Landry of Lake Charles; two brothers, Mike Landry of Huntington, CT and Tom Landry and wife, Erin of Lake Charles; two sisters, Phyllis Bellon and husband, Russ of Austin, TX and Becky Harvell and husband, Danny of Bryan, TX; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lovett, Landry Taylor, Phillip Viator, Gerard Viator, Matthew Viator, and Christopher Viator . She was preceded in death by her father, J P Landry. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Louisiana Lions Camp for Crippled Children in Leesville, LA.
