Nancy McAleece Holland, 77, of Lake Charles, LA died at 8:43 AM on Thursday, January 1, 2015 in a local hospital. Mrs. Holland was born to Wade and Florence McCall in Lakeland, FL on September 6, 1937. She loved to worship Jesus, spend time with her family and as a pastor's wife, mentor young adults. She was a teacher at heart and had the amazing ability to teach anything from Bible to piano. Mrs. Holland is survived by her husband, Robert L. Holland; two daughters, Toni Tardo of Destin, FL and Teresa Tabor and husband Norman of Moss Bluff; daughter-in-law, Amanda McAleece of Lake Charles; step-children, Jayne Anderson of Lake Charles, Kevin Anderson of Bossier City, LA, Charles Anderson of Lake Charles, Richard Holland of Phoenix, AZ, and Paul Holland of Homer, LA; sister, Elsie McCall of Lakeland, FL; fourteen grandchildren, who were the pride and delight of her life; and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James McAleece; son, Wade McAleece; brother, Leon McCall; and her parents. Her memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Lake Charles Family Ministry Center.
