Nancy Willis Crader

Nancy Willis Crader, 57, of Lake Charles departed this earthly world to meet our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born in Opelousas, La to parents Shirley and Patterson Willis. She lived in Lake Charles for 17 years, where she was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Nancy was a selfless and compassionate person who always put family first and was always there to lend a helping hand. She was in frequent contact with all of her siblings and especially enjoyed biannual beach trips to Destin with them. Nancy’s support of her children’s passions was unending. Following them in their participation in sports gave her great joy.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-three years, Wayne Crader of Lake Charles, three sons, Brett Crader and wife Maegon of Arlington, Tx, Bart Crader of Baton Rouge, Cory Crader of Lake Charles, one daughter, Melanie Crader and husband Mick Johnson of Venice, Ca, three grandchildren, Merit Johnson, Owen and Quinn Crader, nine sisters, and one brother.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 26 at 1:00pm at Johnson Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held at 10am and public visitation at 11am on Wednesday.
