Nasser Mansuri

Nasser Mansuri, 67, of Sulphur passed away at 4:52 AM on Thursday, August 16, 2018 in a local care facility.

Mr. Mansuri was born on July 28, 1951 and was a native of Abadan, Iran. He moved to Houston, TX to attend college in 1976 and moved to the Lake Charles area in 1992 with his wife. Mr. Mansuri began working at the Isle of Capri Casino for the next 19 ½ years as a dealer and later as a floor supervisor. During this time he also worked as a floral designer for his wife’s business “Floral Attitudes” in Westlake.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Pamela Mansuri of Sulphur; son, Matthew Mansuri (Lauren) of Westlake; daughter, Mandy Butler (Justin) of Moss Bluff; grandchildren, Kennedy, Jackson, and Raylee; mother, Homa Izadi of Iran; and four brothers and three sisters all of Iran.

He was preceded in death by father, Rahim Mansuri; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Don Duplechain will officiate. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
