Natalie Vallow Barton

Natalie Barton, 86, passed away in a local care facility on February 20, 2018.

She was born in Port Arthur, TX to Calise and Lilia Romero Vallow on February 20, 1932. She graduated from LaGrange High School, where she was a Gatorette, in 1950. She was dedicated to her Catholic faith and will be remembered for being very kind and generous and for cheering on the New Orleans Saints.

She is survived by her brother, Gerald Vallow of Pearland, TX; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calise and Lilia Romero Vallow; husband, Carroll W. Barton; daughter, Vicki Fontenot; son, Carroll C. Barton; and brother, Leland Eli Vallow.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon Glenn Viau will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM with a rosary to be recited at 6 PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 AM until the start of the service.
