Nathaniel Tarelle Cloar

January 28, 1999 — July 4, 2022

Nathaniel Tarelle Cloar, 23, of Westlake passed away at 3:30 PM on Monday, July 4, 2022 in his residence.

Nathaniel was born on January 28, 1999 in Lake Charles.  He was raised in Merryville and moved to Westlake where he graduated from Westlake High School.  Nathaniel loved traveling and especially loved his time in Colorado. Nathaniel was very enthusiastic towards writing and recording music and was anticipating his future at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in the fall in Arizona.

He was a doting father who took care of his late daughter during her illness until it was time for her to go meet the Lord and become an angel.  Nathaniel has now joined his beloved daughter, Amari, in Heaven.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Pamela and Jake Cloar of Westlake; his mother, Dawn Kallsen (John) of Gillis; siblings, Kerry Cloar of Iowa, Santrella Cloar (AJ) of Lake Charles, and Destinee Gibson of Gillis; companion and mother of Amari, Hannah Elliott of Moss Bluff; nephew, Denver Grisom; niece, Divinity Cauthon; cousins Caleb Guidry and Taylor Guidry; aunt, Cristine Miller (David) of Lake Charles; aunt and uncle, Rita and Marvin Sympson of Mayfield, KY; cousin, Rob Sympson (Becky) and their son, Sam of Mayfield, KY; and many other family and friends who cherished him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amari Grayce Cloar; brother, Christopher Cloar; maternal grandparents, Charles and Martha Broach; paternal grandparents, Bobby and JoAnn Cloar; and uncles, John Cloar of Merryville and Tommy Cloar of Mayfield, KY.

Special friends include Taylor Bellard of Westlake, Katie English of Westlake and Brandon Connor of Merryville.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2022 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff.  Bart Coody will officiate.  Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until the start of the service.

Nathaniel and his band of brothers who enjoyed life to the fullest seemed to cause havoc and laughter at their antics.
