Natilia Demaria Hebert, age 80, died on March 16, 2020 in Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, La. She was a loving and wonderful homemaker who, with her husband Edward James Hebert, raised two children Deadra Kaye Castille and Edward James Hebert Jr. Natilia was born and raised in Abbeville, Louisiana and was a Catholic nun in her teenage years, was a eucharistic minister at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, and remained a devout Catholic all her life. She loved to cook, especially hosting family holiday celebrations, enjoyed bowling in a league with her husband Edward, and she often could be found drinking coffee and visiting with family.
Natilia was preceded in death by her parents Rena Ann Shexnayder and Esther Joseph Lege, her siblings, Raymond John Lege, Roland Lege, Virginia Lege Herring, Peter Clarence Joseph Lege, Esta Joseph Lege Jr., and Lydia Marie Arnold. Surviving Natalia include her siblings Mae Hebert and her husband Hayward Hebert and George Lege and his wife Brenda Lege, and her two children, Deadra Kaye Castille, and Edward James Hebert Jr., and his wife Regina Ann Hebert, and her four grandchildren Heather Michelle Castille and her fiancé Nicholas Anthony Canedo, Brittney Danielle Bergeron and her husband Micheal Taylor Bergeron, and Daniel Jacob Castille, and Timothy Ray Benoit, and her two great-grandchildren, Adalyn Grace Bergeron and Riverlyn Kate Bergeron.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11 A.M. at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss with Father Andrews Kollannoor, M.S. officiating under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 4-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing Thursday, March 19, from 8-10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
