Nelda Lynn Prime

Nelda Lynn Prime, 70, of Austin, Texas died at 12:40 AM Monday, May 28, 2012 in St. David North Austin Medical Center.

Mrs. Prime was a native of the Lake Charles area for many years before moving to Austin, Texas. She was a 1958 graduate of Marion High School. Mrs. Prime worked as a Catering Director for the Marriott and Driskill Hotels. She loved spending time with her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Nelda is survived by her husband of 50 years Raymond Prime of Austin, TX, one daughter, Roanna Prime Loftus of Cedar Park, TX, one son, Raymond E. Prime Jr. and his wife Angela of Austin, TX, two granddaughters, Leanna Nell Loftus of Cedar Park, TX, and Kayte Rayne Prime of Austin, TX, one brother, Thomas L. Reeves of New Braunfels, TX, three sisters; Mary Filipski of Topsy, LA, Dianna White and her husband Earl of Dale, TX, and Donita (Dee) Abate of Lumberton, TX, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Prime is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lucy Reeves, one brother, MD Reeves, and one sister, Helen O. Reeves.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Topsy Pentecostal Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. James Rider and Rev. John Palir will officiate. Burial will be in Creel Cemetery in Bel, Louisiana. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 4:00PM until 9:00 PM in the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the church in Topsy.
