Nelda Marie Duncan

Nelda Marie Duncan, 50, passed away on December 26, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 2 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Jerry Chaddick officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 4-9 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The body will be cremated following services. Nelda loved to read her bible and play with her grandchildren. She attended school in Dequincy. She loved roses and potted plants. Though she made mistakes, she always loved her kids. Every day she strived to do her best. She lived her life by Phil 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Nelda is survived by her husband, Bobby Duncan, Sr. of Lake Charles; father, Glen Parker, Sr. of Dequincy; sons, Joseph Parker of Dequincy, Bobby Duncan, Jr. (Tuan) of Lake Charles, and Jeremiah Duncan of Westlake; daughters, Rachel Duncan and Myranda Duncan Frye (Jacob), both of Sulphur; brothers, Glen Parker, Jr. (Phyllis) of Dequincy and Elijah Parker (Lou) of Edgerly; sisters, Maria Parker of Westlake and Cathy Crouse (David) of Arkansas; grandchildren, Lily Frye of Sulphur, Nicholas Parker of Ragley, and Kile Duncan of Lake Charles.
