Salvation sure, O Lord, is mine and all unworthy I am thine, for Jesus died for me. Our sin was no match for God's Matchless provision of justification by faith through Jesus Christ his Son. Mr. Henning's immortal soul, now absent from the body, is present with the Lord! So Brief our days, so very Brief; Like an autumn rose with its fallen leaf; A moment's light, a glaze of sun; and then our pilgrimage is done. Use well this hour's joy, it's grief, For life is brief, so very brief.
