Nettie Fruge Miller, 81, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 10:50 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Miller was born October 24, 1938 in Oberlin, LA, was a 1956 graduate of Basile High School and attended USL.  She was the President, owner and operator of Cash and Carry in Lake Charles from 1971-1996.  Nettie was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.  She enjoyed traveling, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Tommy Guillory of Mesa, AZ, Cynthia Johnson of Lake Charles, Bobbie Phenice and husband Wayne of Welsh, LA, Mark Guillot and Kathryn of Lake Charles, Angie Snider and husband Dr. Lee Snider of Lake Charles, and Scott Guillot of Lafayette, LA; brother, Hugh Fruge and wife Irma; sister, Betty Carter and husband Floyd, all of Welsh, LA; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adras and Alia Fruge; and her first husband and father of her children, Robert “Bobby” Guillot.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.  Father Whitney Miller will officiate.  Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM.  Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 9:45AM at the funeral home.

The family would like to express a special word of thanks to the staff at the Verandah and to her caregivers, Tiffany Johnson and Kryslyn Jordan for the care and compassion given.
