I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Funeral services for Mr. Newton M. Eastwood, 68, of Sulphur, will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11am in Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Mike Jones will officiate. Burial will be held in Inman Cemetery, Bonwier, Texas. Visitation will begin on Thursday, September 23rd from 5pm " 9pm and resume on Friday morning from 8am " until time of service. Mr. Eastwood passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 early morning in Sulphur surrounded by his loving family. Newton Milton Eastwood was born in Oakdale, Louisiana but lived most of his life in Sulphur. He is survived by his loving Wife of 43 years, Brenda Eastwood, Sulphur; 3 Sons: Carl Eastwood; John Eastwood, both of Sulphur; Hawley Eastwood & wife Becky, of Bonwier, Texas; 2 Grandchildren: Katie Eastwood, of Sulphur; Morgan Eastwood, of DeRidder; 3 Sisters: Pat Calhoun, of West Virginia; Sheila Quave, Merryville; Sharon Warden, Sulphur; His Father-In-Law: D.C. Inman, Bonwier, Tx.; along with a host of other family & friends. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Doris & Newton Eastwood. The family would like to give a Heartfelt Thanks to Harbor Hospice for their care and help during Newtons illness. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the A.L.S. Association.
