Nicki Pearce

Lynda Nicole Nicki Pearce, 41, of Holmwood, died Sunday September 8, 2013 in the comfort of her home.

Nicki was born in Lake Charles on May 1, 1972. She was a homemaker and worked for Casa Ole in Sulphur for many years. Nicki was a Christian and, for the past several months, had been experiencing complications from a surgery.

Nicki was blessed to have two wonderful sets of parents, Brian and Kaye Alford Desormeaux, of Hackberry, and Ricky and Gail Wolfe, of Lake Charles who loved and cared for her very deeply.

She is survived by her loving husband of 4 years, Austin Pearce, Holmwood; son, Nicholas Wolfe, Hackberry; daughter, Abbie Pearce, Holmwood; brothers and sisters, Rickey Wolfe and wife Karalee, Lake Charles; Christi LaBove and husband Travis, Hackberry; Jared Desormeaux and wife Jessica, Hackberry; Lisa Racca and husband Cody, Grand Lake; Laurie Manuel and husband Casey, Lake Charles; and Troy LeCompte and wife Brittany, Lake Charles; maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Alford, Hackberry; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews and caring friends.

Visitation will be today, Tuesday September 10, 2013, at Hackberry First Baptist Church from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at the church. The Rev. Jack Tillery will officiate. Burial will follow at Sweet Lake Community Cemetery in Grand Lake.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude for the prayers and kindness shown to them during the months of Nicki's illness.
