Nikalas Todd Gonzalez

Nikalas Todd Gonzalez, 30, of Moss Bluff passed away at 7:54 PM on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Lake Charles.

Nik was born on September 28, 1990 in Sulphur and lived most of his life in Moss Bluff where he was a graduate of Sam Houston High School.  He furthered his education at McNeese State University.  Nik was a manager for Checker’s.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Jesse and Kit Gonzalez of Moss Bluff; sisters, Cheyenne Gonzalez of Moss Bluff and Cassie Jones of Houston; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Cortez and husband Edmond of Kramer, LA; paternal grandmother, Gloria Gonzalez of Deridder; maternal step grandmother, Brenda Redd of Lake Charles; and his companion, Brandon Stutes of Lake Arthur.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Redd, and paternal grandfather, Fidel Gonzalez.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 9, 2021 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff.  The Rev. James Rivers will officiate.  Burial will follow in Whitaker Cemetery in Deridder, LA.  Visitation will begin on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will resume on Friday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
