Noah Carrier, Sr., 88, of Sulphur passed away on July 15, 2015 after a brief illness. Noah was born on January 2, 1927 and was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. In his early years, Noah worked in their family owned poultry processing business. He later worked in the oil field industry for many years. Noah retired from Home Building Materials where he worked as an inside salesman for many years. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss. Noah enjoyed working with cattle and woodworking. He was always involved in helping his sons in whatever projects they were working on. Noah is lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Mary Carrier; sons, Noah (Bo) Carrier, Jr. and wife Dianne and Bill Carrier and his wife Cindy; grandchildren, Nikki, Brandi, Tess, Jesse, Tiffany, Tabby and Tristan; six great grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Little; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Noah was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Aline Carrier; sisters, Dorothy Little and Irene Trahan; and brother, Francis Porter Carrier. Funeral Services for Noah will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11 am at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Carlyss. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5-9 pm at the funeral home with a rosary at 6 pm. Visitation will continue Friday, July 17, 2015 from 9 am until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital. Pallbearers will be Art Little, Randy Little, Gerard Little, Frank Little, Adron Little, Terry Hymel and Dennis Kowarsch.
