Norma Jean Keene

Norma Jean Keene 92 years old, passed away on January 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Lake Charles, LA. She was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA. Norma was a graduate of Lake Charles High, where she was a member of the Kilties marching group. She was a retiree of AT&T Telephone Company. She loved gardening, going on many adventures, and most definitely being in the outdoors.

Norma is survived by her daughter Paula Gail Morgan, her son Mike Tauzin, and her sister Helen Self. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Gladys Williamson, two brothers Russell and Gordon Williamson, and two sons Guy Keene and Steven Tauzin.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of the Heart of Hospice. Especially; Sherri, Julie, and Ashley.

A funeral service will be held on Monday January 29, 2024, at 1:00pm in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday January 28, 2024, from 5:00pm-8:00pm in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:00am until the time of the service.
