Norman William Cooper, 57, formerly of Chula Vista, CA, passed peacefully in his sleep at 5:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in his residence. Mr. Cooper was born April 4, 1957 in San Diego, CA, lived most of his life in Chula Vista, CA and moved to Lake Charles, LA four years ago. He worked most of his life in the restaurant industry and had a passion for cooking. He was a wonderful cook, proud father, and treasured brother and uncle who's heart just kept giving. He was loved by all that knew him and will be missed dearly. Mr. Cooper is survived by his sons, Jason Cooper and Tristen Cooper, both of Paso Robles, CA. Siblings: Salina, Dida, Laurie, Danielle, Nikki, Duke, Thomas and Tony. Norman was blessed with two grandchildren, Marcus and Ema. Also Norman has many nieces and nephews that love him dearly; including Elizabeth, Autumn, Caleb, and Junior of whom he resided with and loved as his own. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Grantham formally of LA. Heaven has just received an angel to watch over all of us. Memorial services information not yet available.
