Nova Jean Hall Medlin Taylor

Nova Jean Hall Medlin Taylor, 81, of Westlake died at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Taylor was born on February 12, 1930 in Memphis, TN. She had lived in Westlake for over 30 years. Mrs. Taylor enjoyed cooking, garage saling, and metal detecting with her husband.

Those left to cherish his memory are her husband, John G. Taylor, Jr of Shreveport; two sons, Gary Medlin and wife Nancy of Lake Charles and David Hall and wife Diane of Westlake; a step daughter, Nell Good and husband David of Shreveport; granddaughter, Markley Hudnall of Westlake; a grandson, Kenneth Hudnall of Nederland, TX; and a son-in-law, James Hudnall of Sulphur.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Hudnall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Cal Gassaway will officiate. Cremation will take place following the services. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and will continue until the start of the service.
