Olivia Laine Donaldson

Olivia Laine Donaldson, 36, of Lake Charles passed away at 12:23 AM on thursday May 11, 2023 in her residence, 

Olivia was born on January 3, 1987 in Lake Charles.  She graduated from Redmond High School in Washington State.  In school, she was a cheerleader and enjoyed the outdoors.  Her adventurous, free nature carried her around the world throughout her adult life.  She consistently worked in the service industry.  She led white water rafting tours on Orcas Island and was a food server.  She returned to the Lake Charles area several years ago, where she enjoyed serving at Mazen's Restaurant and raising her daughter.

She will be remembered for her loving, carefree spirit, open mindedness and her acceptance of others.  She never met a stranger.  Olivia enjoyed dancing, gardening, traveling and seeing her daughter grow.  She cherished her time in nature and had a soft spot for animals.  The impact of her loss will be greatly felt. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Adalynn Farber; parents, Adele Donaldson and Douglas Donaldson, Jr.; siblings, Douglas Donaldson, III, Emilie Donaldson, Rock Donaldson, and Marlon Donaldson; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will begin on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM with a cremation to follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
