Opal Kibodeaux

Opal Kibodeaux, 77, of Sulphur passed away on May 4, 2015 in a local hospital. She was a member of Choupique Baptist Church, she loved to shop and enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Opal is survived by her two sons, Ricky Kibodeaux and wife Dovanna and "Sam" Wallace Kibodeaux ; a daughter, Debbie Borrel and husband Tim all of Sulphur; and a son-in-law, Steve Johnson of Iowa; 5 grandchildren, Christy Harrell and husband Brad, Garrett Johnson and wife Megan and Laurey Johnson, DeAnn and Mark Kibodeaux; 3 great grandchildren, Lauryn and Madelyn Harrell and Brynn Johnson;. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Kibodeaux; her daughter, Cindy Johnson and her parents, Charles and Dozie Norwood. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Arvin Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Thursday at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
