Oreste Toledo Hernandez

Oreste “Alex” Hernandez was born November 14, 1954 in Cuba to the late Luis Hernandez-Rodriguez and Celestina Toeldo-Martinez.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and is best remembered for his vibrant personality, love of a good cup of coffee, and keeping his appearance “dapper”. He loved being outside and tending to his flowers and gardening.

He was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the age of 69 by his beloved mother and father, along with two brothers, Luis de Jesus Hernandez and Vincente Hernandez.

Those left to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of eighteen years, Shirline; sisters, Delfina Hernandez, Rosaida Hernandez; grandchildren, Justin (Lauren) Gillard, Alexis (Dana) Miller, and Paige Reeves; seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life to be hosted at a later date.
