Otice Arrington

Otice Goldie Mitchell Arrington, 96, of Lake Charles, LA died at 7:05 AM on Sunday, February 3, 2013 in a local care facility.

Mrs. Arrington was born November 19, 1916 in McCaskill, AR. After World War II, she worked as a nurse and was a member of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Arrington is survived by her son, Aden Arrington of Lake Charles; daughter, Patricia Holland of Georgetown, TX; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Aden Alfred Arrington; parents, Ivey Lee Mitchell and Lossie Hamilton Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Mary Arrington; and son-in-law, Jim Fowler.

Visitation will be from 3pm until 5pm Friday February 16, 2013 at Johnson funeral home. Burial will be Sunday February 17, 2013, at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
