Ouida Joyce Haygood Littleton

Ouida Joyce Haygood Littleton, 84, of Sulphur passed away at 4:06 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. Littleton was born on February 25, 1939 in Liberty, MS and was a graduate of Liberty High School.  She moved to Sulphur and settled there for most of her life where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur.  Mrs. Littleton was the office manager of Littleton Claims Service for 22 years.

She loved to watch and support her grandchildren and great grandchildren with their many activities. 

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Gary Thomas Littleton; granddaughters, Laura Lea Littleton and Erica Littleton Norwood; grandson, Tanner Thomas Littleton; and great grandchildren, Emmie and Elle Norwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Thomas Littleton; a daughter, Pamela Maxine Littleton Ellender; parents, Nella and Edward Haygood; siblings, Harold and Maxine Haygood; and a grandson, Logan Thomas Littleton.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
