P. Alan Levine

Funeral services for Mr. Alan Levine, 76, of Westlake, will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 8th at 1: 30pm for friends followed by services at 2pm. Mr. Levine passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2001 in Westlake surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years: Merle Jeanne Levine; 2 brothers: Charles Michael Levine and Pete Levine. He was a Veteran, serving his country in the United States Coast Guard, receiving many rewards and citations as a Ham Radio Operator, Emergency Preparedness as Administrator in Calcasieu parish. Mr. Levine was an avid outdoorsman and will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by 3 children: Son: Michael Alan Levine, of Westlake; Daughter: Jeri Lynn Levine, of Moss Bluff; Son: Todd Joseph Levine and wife Kathy, of Garland, Tx; 2 Grandchildren: Allison Marie Levine & Christopher Alan Levine, of Garland, Tx., Along with a host of other family & friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Troup 86 of Calcasieu Parish.
