Pam Menke

Pamela Bond Menke, 68, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away on August 19, 2021, just hours before her mother.

Pam was born July 25, 1953 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Marion High School.  She worked as an operator for Olin / Arco Chemical / Lyondell, retiring after twenty-seven years of service.  She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church.  Pam enjoyed playing computer games, gardening and raising her vegetables.  She will always be remembered as a caring and compassionate daughter, mother and grandmother who loved her family.

Pam is survived by her children, Laura Menke and Chris Menke; brother, Stephen C. Bond and wife Jennifer; mother, Sadie Bond; granddaughter, Maddalene; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, J. L. “Jack” Bond; and brother, Michael Keith Bond.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Theodore Catholic Church.  Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate.  Burial will follow in Sallier Cemetery in Lake Charles.  Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Sunday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary at 6:30 PM.  Visitation will continue on Monday at the funeral home from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.
