Pamela Ann Whitsitt

Pamela Ann Whitsitt, 70, of Lake Charles, died Monday, August 9, 2021 in Lake Charles. Pamela was born September 5, 1950 in Lake Charles to the late Elizabeth Ann and Warren Cormier Sr.

Pamela attended Dequincy high school and graduated from LaGrange high school in Lake Charles. She then worked at the Calcasieu Parish Clerk of Court office for over 30 years. Pam was a very classy, quiet, spirited lady. She could be seen as a little southern belle with her little southern drawl. She absolutely loved the Lord and would share Him with anyone who would listen. She served on the ministry team for years in the church she attended.

Pamela is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Whitsitt and Julie Ann McQuilliams; three brothers, Warren Cormier Jr., Ronald Cormier Sr., and George Cormier.

That was left to cherish her memory are, her sister, Suzanne Cooper and husband Gary; three brothers, James Cormier and wife Pam, Mark Cormier, and William Cormier and wife Beth; two grandsons Justin Leblanc and Jason Leblanc; and one great granddaughter, Leyna Rowel.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Monday at University Baptist Church with visitation beginning at noon.
