Pamela Dionne, 75, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away at 3:40 AM on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in her residence.
Born April 30, 1946, Mrs. Dionne was raised in Westlake, LA and has lived in Lake Charles, LA most of her adult life. She was educated at Sowela Technical School and retired from Lakeside Bank as the head of Bookkeeping, after twenty years of service. Mrs. Dionne enjoyed water activities in her younger years and also enjoyed gardening, collecting, and everything arts and crafts. She was an excellent caregiver, a wonderful cook and loved Christmas time and playing Bourré with her friends.
Mrs. Dionne is survived by her children, Tammi Schenk and husband Fred of Bayou Vista, TX, David Perry and wife Pat of Lake Charles, and Terri Doucet and husband Jack of Lake Charles; step-children that she called her own, Lisa Pigno and husband Paul of Lake Charles and Jeff Beam and wife Jacquee of Grand Lake; sister, Pat Brooks of Sulphur, LA; brother, Bill Borgman and wife Jane of Kingwood, TX; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous others that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children and first husband, Jim Perry; second husband, David Beam; third husband Cecil Dionne; parents, Edith and Jack Borgman, Sr.; brother, Jack Borgman, Jr.; and a grandson, William Doucet.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at University Baptist Church. Father Paul Jussen will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM and continue on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the start of the service.
