Pamela Jean LeBleu Ramirez, 59, of Lake Charles passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in a local hospital following a brief illness.
Pamela was born on February 13, 1959 in Kinder, was raised in LeBleu Settlement, and lived most of her life in Lake Charles except for a few years residing in Nevada. She was a 1977 Valedictorian graduate of Barbe High School and attended Delta Tech. Pamela worked as a pharmacy assistant for Kroger and then K & B Pharmacy before working in management at Market Basket for more than 10 years. She was a member of the VFW Post 2130 Ladies Auxiliary and also belonged to the Fraternal Order of Police.
She was most proud of being a devoted and loving mother to Gloria and being a caregiver for her mom and dad. Pamela was always helping others and will be remembered as “a lover, not a fighter.” She believed in peace and happiness for everyone. Pamela loved all animals, especially her cats, Coffee Milk and Pinky.
Those left to cherish her memory are the love of her life, Sergio Raul Ramirez of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Gloria Rose “Simba” Ramirez and wife Lakyn “Lincoln” of Lake Charles; adopted son, Caden Marcantel of LeBleu Settlement; brother, Floyd LeBleu, Jr. of Deridder; sister, Sheila Faye Luquette (Danny) of Reeves; grandson, Bentley Ryan Carter of Lake Charles; special uncle, Jacob LeBleu of Lake Charles; Godmother, Gloria Mae Elliott of Reno, NV; and her best friend, Jackie Perkins of Lake Charles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Floyd LeBleu, Sr.; brother, Kenneth LeBleu; and her soul mate, Stephen LeBleu.
Visitation will begin on Friday at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until leaving for the church at 9:45 AM. A funeral mass for her and her father will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. The Rev. Trey Ange will officiate. She will be cremated following the service.
