Pamela Kaye Johnson, 53, of Ragley, LA died at 6:45 PM on Monday, June 13, 2011 in her residence after a lengthy illness.
Pamela was born April 5, 1958 in Lake Charles, LA and attended Lake Charles High School. She worked as a caregiver and a certified nursing assistant for many years. A member of the Catholic faith, she enjoyed life, riding motorcycles, and loved animals, especially goats and horses. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and aunt.
Pamela is survived by her children, Kaye Lynn Johnwell and husband Donald of Ragley; Ronald Dale Wallace, Jr. and wife Deann of Jasper, TX, and Anthony Shawn Primeaux of Lake Charles; mother, Joyce Lucille Johnson of Ragley; brothers, Carl Dean Johnson of Hawaii and John Henry Johnson, Jr. of Westlake; sister, Tina Joyce Dartez and husband Marty of Ragley; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Johnson, Sr.; and brother, Gregory Boyd Johnson.
Her memorial service will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Rick Batchelor will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the start of the service.
