Pamela Lyons Jackson

Pamela Lyons Jackson, 57, passed away on October 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Pam was baptized at Vincent Baptist Church in Carlyss, LA and is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father. She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. Pam was born and raised in Carlyss, LA. She graduated from Sulphur High School in 1978, enjoyed her family and spending time with her close cousins. Pam was a free loving person who never met a stranger and had a smile that could light up a room.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Orvy and Dorothy Mays Lyons; her sisters, Patricia Lyons Gorum (Danny) and Leticia Lyons Allen (Chuck), her nephews, Quinton (Andrea) Gorum and Nick (Kim) Gorum; her niece, Danielle Allen; two great nieces, Hadley Mae and Emma Jane Gorum; and numerous loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Marcus Wade officiating at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel, with a gathering starting at 1 P.M. until time of the memorial service. A private burial will take place at Farquhar Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Dr. Kevin Schlamp for caring for Pam; and a special thank you to all of the staff who took care of her that she came to love. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
