Patricia Ann Reynolds

March 5, 1947 — February 16, 2024

Patricia Ann Reynolds, 76, passed away on February 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Patricia was born on March 5, 1947, in Beaumont, Texas to John Eugene Lounsberry, Sr. and Peggy Morris Lounsberry.  Growing up in a pastor’s home, Patricia was reared in an atmosphere of ministry. This prepared her for serving alongside her husband in various Baptist churches in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.

Patricia was a business-minded homemaker. She put her good business sense into working inside of the home and outside of it. Her side businesses included owning a children’s clothing shop, candle-making, and selling jewelry. Yet, her love was her family, especially her grandchildren, and serving in ministry. Patricia was a visual artist who put her talent to use by producing, in concert with her husband, various large-scale church productions presenting the life of Christ.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 58 years, James Reynolds, Sr.; her three children, Jimmy Reynolds, Hart Rivera and husband, Andy, and John Reynolds and wife, Kim; three grandchildren, Jared Reynolds, Ross Reynolds, and Ruth Rivera; her nephew, Mike Lounsberry and wife, Pam; and nieces, Susan Marcantel and husband, Ken, and Christine Fisher and husband, Gerald; and many great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Lounsberry, Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Joan Lounsberry.

Services for Patricia will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 1 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Gill officiating.  Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 11 AM until the time of service.
