Patricia Anne Moore

Patricia Anne Moore died in the early morning of June 28, 2021, falling asleep peacefully in her chair.  She was born Patricia Anne Landry on January 23, 1939.  She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 38 years, Billy Wayne Moore; her daughter Geralyn who died shortly after birth; her son Brian Kevin Moore; her parents Gustave Dalton Landry Sr. and Louise McLaughlin Landry; and her brother Gustave Dalton Landry Jr.  She is survived by her children Jacqueline Anne Moore Kelly (Michael), Sean Damian Moore (Christy), and Patrick Wayne Moore.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Chelsea Koonce, Jacob, Rachel, Sarah, Anna, Tanner, Lauren, and Gabrielle Moore; and her great grandchildren Riley LeJeune, Michael Koonce, and Harley Davidson.  

Patricia loved art and painted most of her life.  She loved antiquing and sewing.  She loved to travel and even lived overseas for a little while.  She loved a good joke and could tell an off-colored one in good taste.  She loved sweets and candy.  And she had this thing for giving away the family dog on more than one occasion while the kids were at school.  Mostly she loved God and had complete faith in Jesus Christ.  Her constant prayer was “Jesus, I trust in you.”  

A wake will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home, 107 W. Napoleon, Sulphur Louisiana beginning at 5 PM. on Thursday July 1, 2021, with a rosary at 6 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 2, 2021, at 10 AM at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, 602 North Claiborne Street, Sulphur, Louisiana with Father Bino Francis celebrating, with burial at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly afterward.  Patricia may or may not be on time for these, as she did not stress herself about punctuality.
