Patricia June Olmsted Gore, 82, of Dry Prong, LA, died at 5:30 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015, in her residence. Mrs. Gore was born June 7, 1933 in Lake Charles, LA, where she lived until moving to North Louisiana to follow her husband's ministry. She was a 1951 graduate of Lake Charles High School, where she served as a Kiltie for four years. She was raised, baptized, and met the love of her life, Bryant Gore, at Simpson United Methodist Church. She was a current member of First Baptist Church of Dry Prong. Mrs. Gore was a devoted minister's wife who loved and admired her children and grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed working puzzles and cooking for her family. Mrs. Gore is survived by her husband of over fifty years, Brother Bryant Gore; children, Debbie Hebert Loftus of Beaumont, TX, Craig Hebert of Lake Charles, Becky Hebert Lambert and Patti Hebert Cryer, both of Spring, TX, Scott Hebert and wife Karen of Clear Lake, TX, Bruce Hebert of Panama City, FL, Thomas James Gore and wife Darla of Jackson, LA; and step-daughters, Denise Jones and husband Bob of Westlake, LA and Donna DeLucca and husband Mickey of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Ralph Olmsted and wife Therese; sisters, Betty Carlin and Loretta LaFleur and husband Royce Arthur; nineteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian C. Hebert, Sr.; daughter, Vicki Lea Hebert; parents, Alice and Ralph Olmsted; brother, Jack Olmsted; and sisters, Dixie Seabolt and Faye Fontenot. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 12, 2015, at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Lloyd Whitman will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
