Patricia Ann "Patsy" Knox Kleckley, 73, of Moss Bluff passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, September 04, 2014, following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Patsy and her late husband, love of her life, Sammy, were married for 54 years. During these years they shared the adventures of life; starting a family, running a business, and enjoying their twilight years traveling the country in their RV with their family and lifelong friends. And now, staying true to their bond, they are sharing their final adventure just months apart. It brings the family great comfort to know that Patsy met her goal of living to see the birth of both of her great-grandchildren, Nina Marie White and Jason William West. And now, she and Sammy are together again. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Kleckley Carlock and husband Richard Guy Carlock of Westlake; two sons, James William Kleckley and wife Rhonda Rodriguez Kleckley and William Knox Kleckley of Lake Charles; six grandchildren, Faren Kleckley White, and husband Christian Charles White of Lake Charles, US Air Force Sr. Airman Collin James Kleckley of Great Falls, MT, Hallie Marie Kleckley of Lake Charles, Kelsey Elizabeth Carlock West and husband Coby Dale West of Iowa, Courtney Paige Carlock of Westlake and Meagan Kleckley Yates Crouch and husband Zach Crouch of Shreveport; great-grandchildren, Nina Marie White, Jason William West, and Macy and Haegan Crouch of Shreveport; two sisters-in-law, Eva Marie Kleckley Miller and husband Jack Irwin Miller of Trinity, TX and Barbara Knox of West Lafayette, IN nieces and nephews, Karen Kleckley of Lake Charles, Lou Ann Turner and husband Larry of Crocket, TX, Malinda Shaver and Sheree Gilbert of Houston, TX, Janet Kleckley Klein and husband Kenny of Lake Charles, Charles Edward "Chuck" Kleckley and wife Laurie of Lake Charles and Tammy Knox Sandel of West Lafayette, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Samuel Kleckley; parents, Clifford and Dorothy Hamilton Knox; brother, Renay Hamilton Knox; grandson, Jason Clint Cormier, and great-grandson, Roman Charles White. Mrs. Kleckley's family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Gaharan and Dr. Fredericks and their nurses and staff for the special attention and treatment given to her. Also, to the nurses and staff of Heart of Hospice for their excellence in care and compassion during this difficult time.
