Patricia Lorraine Richard Cummings

Patricia Lorraine Richard Cummings, 67, of Chloe, LA died at 8:50 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Cummings was born May 29, 1946 in Carencro, LA, raised in Goosport, LA, and lived in Chloe for the past forty years. She was a graduate of Lake Charles High School. After retiring from Gibson / Sel-Mart as a cashier after seventeen years, she worked in Customer Service at Lowe's Home Improvement for fourteen years. Mrs. Cummings attended St. Raphael's Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed gambling. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with family and friends.

Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Thomas E. Cummings, Jr. of Chloe; daughters, Lisa Lorraine Cummings Foreman, Tracy Denise Cummings Buxton, and Mandy Lynn Cummings Guy, all of LeBleu Settlement; brother, Donald Richard of Longville, LA; sisters, Janie Richard Broussard and husband Glenn of Moss Bluff and Amy Richard Janese of Lake Charles; sisters-in-law, Doris Cummings of LeBleu Settlement and Nancy LeBeouef of Westlake, LA; grandchildren, Joshua Foreman, Jenna Foreman, Thomas Buxton, Thad Buxton, Tiffany Buxton, Braden Guy, Harley Guy; great-grandchild, Nathan Foreman; and a number of other special friends and family members.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Andreas Kedati will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery in Chloe, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM and continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
