Patricia Lynn Dupin Benoit

Patricia Lynn Dupin Benoit, 57, of Lake Charles, LA died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in a local hospital following an illness.

Patricia was born on October 4, 1958 in Westlake, LA to Jesse and Ruth Dupin. She enjoyed being around family and friends. Patricia loved watching football and her in-game phone calls will be sorely missed. Patricia was also a motorcycle enthusiast having owned several Harleys.  To go along with being cut from a rare cloth, she (Legs) drove semi-trucks as did several of her brothers.  She was born and raised on Trousdale Road in Westlake and was a graduate of Westlake High School. Patricia was a great cook and never knew a stranger.  She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Daniel Benoit; her father, Jesse Joseph Dupin; and brother, James Bruce Dupin.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her friend Greg Spearing; her son Robert Daniel Benoit II and wife Traci; daughter Kayla Lynn Benoit; five grandchildren, Alajiah, Elijah, and Isaiah Benoit; and Baylor and Robert “Trey” Benoit III; five sisters, Shirley Hawley, Jessie Pujol, Sybil Leger, Carolyn Fullington and Nancy Richard; and four brothers, Sidney, Michael, Patrick and Kenneth Dupin.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 8:00 AM until time of service Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
