Patricia “Pat” LeBouef Trahan, 80, died on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 9:10 AM in a Lafayette, LA hospital.
Mrs. Trahan was born August 22, 1937 in Eunice, LA, where she graduated from Eunice High School and lived most of her life in the Lake Charles area. She was very involved with her children’s activities when they were younger, serving as den mother for the Boy Scouts, band supporter, and Team mother, just to name a few. Mrs. Trahan was a member of Celebration Worship Center. She was a member of the Cajun French Music Association, loved to dance and loved Mamou Mardi Gras. She was a great cook and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Trahan is survived by her children, Jessica Buck (Randy) of Sulphur, LA, Anthony “Tony” Trahan of Lake Charles, Mark Trahan (Crystal) of Victoria, TX, and Donny Trahan (Laura Smith) of Victoria, TX; sister, Connie Rashall of Eunice, LA; brother, T. J. LeBouef (Juanita) of Eunice, LA; grandchildren, Madison Buck, Destiny Richard, Justin Trahan, Ashlee Quibodeaux, Haley Trahan, Tyler Trahan, Cody Trahan, Channing Trahan, Courtney Hernandez, Logan Hernandez, Christian “Trey” Buckheit, Nathan Smith and Isaac Smith; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theophile and Alena LeBouef and her husband, Merlin Trahan.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Donnie Craine will officiate. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
