Patricia Thibodeaux

July 18, 1939 — March 2, 2022

Patricia Diane Thibodeaux was one of four children born to Edward and Isabelle Queenan. She was born July 18, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri.

When she was five years old, her family located to Southwest Louisiana area, establishing Queenan Construction.

It was a blind date that led her to her future husband. In 1968, she and Martin exchanged vows. Together they welcomed three daughters, whom she loved dearly. As a homemaker, she took excellent care of her husband and children. Ensuring their home was filled with laughter and the delicious smell of baked goods. Baking and cake decorating were her passion, no one in her family ever received a store-bought birthday cake. She was honest to a fault, comical, and her feisty spirit was something she was most loved for.

When she was not spoiling her grandchildren, she could be found at any open Bingo halls, dobbing away for the grand prize of the day, or attending various garage sales or flea markets. A fond memory of her is the yearly trips home to Missouri to enjoy the better weather of Branson.

She was welcomed into Heaven on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 by her husband of thirty four years, Martin Thibodeaux; a daughter, Kathryn Laughlin; a grandson, Jody Lynn Miller; her parents; sister, Shirley Bond; two brothers, Rick Queenan and Mike Queenan, whom passed the same day.

Those left to cherish her memory; two daughters, Kitty (Darrell) Landry and Lahoma (Robert) Miller; a daughter in-law, Debbie (Doug) Sonnier; grandchildren, Wallace, Chad, Kendall, Belle, Amy Boaz, Samuel Miller, Darrel Landry, Jr., and Michael Thibodeaux; eleven great grandchildren; and her three best friends, Patty Bordelon, Tee Simon, and Jerry Davis.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. The family will welcome friends on Sunday, March 6, 2022 beginning at 2pm to 3pm. Celebration of her life led by Reverend Nathan Nazworth will begin at 3pm.

Mom, you will be greatly missed! We love you dearly!
