Patrick Charles Lancaster

Patrick Charles Lancaster, 21, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Lake Charles. Patrick was born in Lake Charles and has been a lifelong resident of the Grand Lake and Lake Charles area. He was educated in Grand Lake. He worked with his family at Nash Fencing. Patrick enjoyed athletics and played basket ball, baseball and football in Grand Lake. He also enjoyed the challenge of his play station games, riding ATV's, archery and was a boy scout. Patrick offered guidance to his friends and family, was for many, a shoulder to lean on and a great protector of his sister. He will be most remembered for his sly wit and ability to "one up" his friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Peter Charles Lancaster of Grand Lake; mother, Erin Harrop Lancaster of Lake Charles; two sisters, Emily Lancaster of Lake Charles and Gabriele Arabie of Sulphur; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth "Betty" Lancaster of Lake Charles and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry Lancaster; maternal grandparents, Patrick and Evelyn Harrop and cousin, Michael Lancaster. Memorial services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Gathering of friends will be from 12:00 PM until the start of a rosary at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
