Patrick James Baumery

Patrick James Baumery, 50, of Welsh, LA, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 12, 2018.

Mr. Baumery was born December 19, 1967 in Lake Charles, LA, was a 1988 graduate of St. Louis Catholic School and graduated from Delta Tech and Monroe Technical School. He worked as a Security Officer for over seventeen years, most recently for Lofton Security at Axiall Corporation. During his younger years, he spent many years on the football field, coaching his son’s teams. Mr. Baumery enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, building, camping, and playing on the computer, but had a love for spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Baumery is survived by his wife of nine years, Paula Baumery of Welsh, LA; children, Cameron Baumery and his fiancée Brittany Duplechain of Iowa, LA, Casie Miller and husband Leonard of LeBleu Settlement, LA, Hunter Dasch and Emily Dasch, both of Welsh, LA; brother, Murphy Baumery, Jr. and wife Kim of Dry Creek, LA; grandchildren, Levi Miller, Wyatt Miller, and Bentley Baumery; and his beloved dog, Buck.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Murphy Baumery, Sr.; brother, Randy Joseph Baumery, Sr.; and granddaughter, Mia Baumery.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and continue on Monday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
