Patrick Kyle Moore

Patrick Kyle Moore, 41, of Lake Charles died Saturday, December 04, 2010.


Mr. Moore was born in Sulphur, LA and has lived most of his life in Moss Bluff. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School. He served the United States Army 101st Airborne Division during Dessert Storm. Follow his service to his country, Kyle worked for Gulf States/ Entergy, where he attained training as an Electrician. He has worked the past fourteen years for Dupont Chemical in Orange, TX.


Mr. Moore was an avid outdoorsman, whom loved hunting and fishing, and was a member of the NRA. He was also a member of LARKS field, as he enjoyed flying model airplanes. He was a devoted husband and father with an overwhelming love for his family. His greatest times were those he shared with his sons. Mr. Moore will be most remembered as a "leader with a kind, giving heart".


He leaves to honor his memory, his wife of 10 1/2 years, Christy LaComb Moore of Moss Bluff; two sons, Cameron Garrett of Colorado and Patrick "Cane" Moore of Moss Bluff; his parents, Patrick Cecil and Kay Ledbetter Moore, of Moss Bluff; one brother, Charles "Kendall" Moore and wife Rhonda of New Iberia; father- in- law, Edward Gene Jardell; mother- in- law, Debbie Jardell, both of Lake Charles and one niece, Kara Sage Moore of New Iberia.


Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 07, 2010 in St. Theodore Catholic Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Interment will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation Monday will be from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a scripture service and rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. Visitation Tuesday will be from 8:00 AM until 12:15 PM in the funeral home.


Donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006 or a Veteran Charity of Choice.
