Patrick Shawn Lopez

Patrick Shawn Lopez, 53, of Carlyss, passed from this life on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was born to Lloyd and Velda Lopez 53 years ago on March 8, 1970. Patrick was a scaffolding supervisor for Turner Industries for many years. Patrick was known for his hard-working ethics. He loved spending time with his family and was a joy to be around.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Greg and Allison Lopez, Sue and Wade Crochet, Gail and Don Brown, Cathy Carrier, Allison and Billy Guidry, Roz and Mike Mercer; honorary sons, Chris Fontenot and Tanner Burney; three grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

Patrick is proceeded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Velda Lopez; long time partner, Rachel Fontenot; godchild, Erica Lopez; nephews, Matt and Daniel Crochet; brother-in-law, Danny Carrier.

A memorial visitation will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 10 AM until 7 PM, with a Rosary at 6 PM.
