She was a dedicated member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff until the day of her passing.

Patrinella was a Cosmetologist by trade for many years until she transitioned to the medical field. It was the medical field where she eventually found her true calling, working with trouble youth, until she retired.

She leaves to cherish her memory; four sisters, Diana Chantlin Davis, Ida Chantlin Griffith, Clara (Ralph) Guillory, Christina (John) Spikes; two adopted sisters, Delores Spikes and Martha Woods; five brothers, Gilbert (Jerrie) Chantlin, Jude Chantlin, Gregory (Lesia) Chantlin, Felix Chantlin, and Theodore (Cynthia) Chantlin; one uncle, Colton Lavergne; two aunts, Emma Woods and Irma Lavergne;  lifelong friends, Shirley Green, Sheryl Riley, and Eula Mae Hanchett along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother, Gerald Chantlin.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, July 10, 2021, in St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Visitation will begin in the church on Saturday from 10 am until time of the service.
