Patsy Gaspard, 88, passed away on June 12, 2024, in a local hospital.

She was born on April 25, 1936, in Glenmora, Louisiana to Leroy Stokeld, Sr. and Minnie McGee Stokeld. She loved her family, First Baptist Church family and serving others. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church in Lake Charles. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily, exercising, working with the Literacy Counsel, playing games (especially dominoes), and watching Wheel of Fortune.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 53 years, John Gaspard; children, Philip Domingues (Barbara), Cissy Williams, Craig Domingues, and Carol Domingues; grandchildren, Stacy, Brady, Matthew, Austin, and Sara; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Betty Hebert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Domingues; and brothers, Sonny Stokeld and Bob Stokeld.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Dammon will officiate. Burial will take place in Prien Memorial Park following the service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church or ABC Pregnancy Resource Center.
