Paul Doucet

Paul Ledel Doucet, D.V.M., 55, of Carlyss passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his residence.

He was employed for 27 years at Westlake Chemical, currently working as a process plant operator.  Paul graduated valedictorian from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and was licensed in both Louisiana and Texas.  He loved his family, being outdoors and enjoyed roping, working cattle, bailing hay, and anything to do with horses and cattle. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Angela Doucet of Carlyss; two children, Luke Doucet and wife Laurynn of Carlyss and Adele Doucet and fiancé, Stephen Box. One granddaughter, Landry Doucet; brother, Nick Doucet and wife Beth of Sulphur; nieces, Rachel Kyle  and Courtney Cornwell; and his parents, John Martin Doucet and Mary Wyline Doucet of Carlyss.

 Funeral Service will be held 11 am, Thursday, June 18, 2020 in Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Father Luke Krzanowski, M.S.  will officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home 4-8pm, Wednesday with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30pm and will resume 9:30am Thursday until time of service at 11am.   Words of comfort and memories may be shared with the family at www.robisonfuneralhome.com
