Paul Lee Malveaux

Paul Lee Malveaux, 91, of Lake Charles passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in a local hospital.

Mr. Malveaux was born in Grand Prairie and raised the area of Lebeau, LA and has lived most of his life in Lake Charles.  He retired and Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry.  He enjoyed fishing, boating and camping and loved traveling throughout to explore the music and culture of his nation.  He found great pride in his heritage, music and culture and gave his best efforts in dancing and learning to play the accordion and guitar.  Mr. Malveaux was an honorable man of family, ethics and Catholic faith, an usher of the church, member of the Knights of Columbus and Masonic Lodge.  Mr. Malveaux will be remembered for always being well dressed and for his hat collection.

He leaves to honor his memory, one son, Alcin Paul Malveaux and his wife Chadanan of Aurora, CO; one daughter, Catherine Malveaux and husband Travis Singleton of Denver, CO; one grandson, David Malveaux of Denver, CO; three great grandchildren, Davion, McKenna and Maxwell Malveaux; two brothers, Alcin Malveaux, Jr. and wife Ollie of Baton Rouge and Andrew Malveaux of Wichita, KS; one sister, Teresa Robert of Opelousas and his former wife of nearly thirty years and mother of his children, Vivian Briscoe Malveaux of Aurora, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcin Malveaux and Adele Tezeno Malveaux; two  brothers, Joseph and Ervis Malveaux and two sisters, Loritha Thomas and Joyce Jean.

In respect of his wishes, Funeral and Interment services were private. His final place of rest is with his parents and family in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery in Lebeau, LA.  Rev. James Sallon, SSJ was the officiate.
