Paul Shannon Miller

Paul Shannon Miller, 48, of Sulphur, LA passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 in a Houston, TX hospital. Paul was born on August 9, 1966 in Little Rock, AR to Calvin and Margarite Miller. He was an avid football fan supporting the Saints and LSU football. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing. He also loved being around family and friends. He was an employee for various companies including ETI, PPG, Dashiel, and Emerson. Paul attended Maplewood School and Sulphur High School. Survivors include his loving wife, of 14 years, Tiffany Mesh Miller of Sulphur, LA; two children, Taylor Mesh and Mary Miller of Sulphur, LA; one brother, Len Miller of Littlerock, AR; mother-in-law, Beverly Mesh of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Rikki Mesh of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Lisa Mesh of Santa Clara, CA; brother-in-law, Doug Mesh of Austin, TX; fraternal survivors, Aunt Veda Cox of Benton, AR and Uncle Dee Ray Miller of Scott, AR; maternal survivor, Aunt Myra Daniels of Lake Charles; cousins, James and Sharon Fontenot of Lake Charles, LA and Bonita and Roger Blair of Sulphur, and many other cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service in his honor will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association and Cancer Society.
