Pearl LeBouef Pellerin, 95, of Baton Rouge, died at 1:50 AM on Saturday, November 08, 2014 following an extended illness. Pearl was a native of Sweetlake, LA and lived in Donaldsonville, LA for nearly 60 years. She was a homemaker. She collected insurance for Security Industrial and worked at Mary's Dress shop. She was a member of the Lady's Alter Society of Ascension Catholic Church and past president of the Mother's Club of Ascension Catholic School. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Baton Rouge during her later years. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Lazime and Elizabeth LeBouef; husband of 57 years, Vern Louis Pellerin; brothers, Samuel Lee LeBouef and Wesley LeBouef; and sisters, Elta Hubert, Lucy Kuhlman, Dorothy Broussard, and Leola Fogleman. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Pellerin Corceller, Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Michelle and Dean Babin, Baton Rouge, Matthew Young, Montgomery, AL, Mark and Katherine Young, Norfolk, VA; great grandson, Maxwell Joseph Young and a host of nieces and nephews. She will forever be in our hearts and remembered for her love of family and friends, dancing, cooking and playing cards. The family would like to thank the staff of The Crossing at Clarity Hospice for their kind and gentle care before Pearl received her wings. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 10, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Harold J. Nixon will officiate. Burial will follow in Grand Lake Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
